About this event
Dance of the Revolution boldly breaks away from the conventional narrative structure of traditional theater and is composed of eight independent scenes. Each scene illuminates fragmentary moments one might encounter in the midst of a revolution, yet they are not bound by causal relationships. However, the relentlessly repeated dialogue, sounds, objects, and lighting on stage, combined with the actors’ intricate movements, bring the work’s inner structure to the surface. Through these repetitive patterns, the audience senses that the scenes are organically connected on a level beyond the narrative, encountering a new experience that expands the horizons of theater.
