About this event
The Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is hosting the “DDP Architecture Tour,” centered around spaces for dreaming (Dream), creating (Design), and enjoying (Play). This program offers a guided tour led by a docent to explore the history and significance of the Dongdaemun area, where the DDP is located, with a focus on the building designed by Zaha Hadid. The tour runs regularly from Tuesday through Sunday, but is closed every Monday, as well as on New Year’s Day, Lunar New Year’s Day, and Chuseok. Tour times are 10:30 a.m. (Korean), 1:30 p.m. (English), and 3:30 p.m. (Korean). Tours depart from the Tour Desk on the first floor of the DDP Museum and last approximately 60 minutes. Participants must be at least 13 years old (middle school students); those under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. You can participate by making an online reservation or registering on-site. Online reservations can be made through the DDP website (https://ddp.or.kr/?menuno=797), and on-site registration is available starting 10 minutes before the tour begins, subject to availability.
