About this event
"Board Game Festa" is sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and and jointly organized by the Seoul Business Agency and the Korea Board Game Industry Association. It has been held as the “Seoul Board Game Festa” since 2015, and starting in 2022, the Korea Board Game Industry Association has taken over as the sole organizer and host under the name “Board Game Festa.” Designed as a festival-style board game experience to promote board games—a global family and educational activity—the event offers visitors hands-on board game experiences, tournaments, and other events to showcase the unique joys of board games. Along with “Board Game Con,” which is held with support from the Korea Creative Content Agency, it is widely recognized by the public as a flagship board game experience event. With the goal of revitalizing the board game industry, organizers are planning ongoing events, aiming to hold the festival at least twice a year.
