About this event
This is a non-competitive night hiking event where participants enjoy a stroll through the forests and night views of Namsan, one of Seoul’s most iconic nighttime attractions. Participants set out from Namsangol Hanok Village and walk approximately 3 km to Namsan Tower, passing along the Namsan Connecting Walkway and Namsan Park Trail. The small lights from participants’ glow-in-the-dark wristbands and phone grips stretch along the nighttime path of Namsan, creating a scene reminiscent of fireflies in motion. Approximately 700 participants per session are divided into seven groups of 100. After warm-up exercises and safety instructions, they set off in sequence. Upon arriving at the Octagonal Pavilion, each group takes a commemorative photo before dispersing.
