2026 Seoul Design Week

Seoul Design Week is a design festival that showcases the cutting-edge tastes of Seoul, a global design city. Now in its 13th year, Seoul Design Week will present a diverse array of design content under the theme “The Design Recipe” for 12 days, from October 14 to 25. The DDP Design Fair, based on the concept of a “market brimming with personal tastes,” is a space where visitors can personalize brands discovered in Seoul according to their own preferences. By organizing the space around “taste” rather than consumer categories, it creates a stage where brands and emerging designers come together. The exhibition will take place at key locations across Seoul, centered around the DDP, including Seongsu and Hongdae. From works by 100 designers active in contemporary Seoul to exhibitions showcasing the design processes of international studios and a pop-up exhibition of merchandise brimming with “Seoul Next,” the event will fill the entire city with diverse inspiration, serving as a platform that encompasses the broad spectrum of the design industry. In addition, the festival plans to present a variety of side programs—including exhibitions and markets—designed to enhance the global competitiveness and distinctiveness of Seoul’s design scene and improve the quality of life for Seoul’s citizens.
