About this event
*The Sound of Breathing: Songs of the Haenyeo* is a one-person, AI-driven immersive musical that follows the prayers and memories left behind by the performer’s mother—a former haenyeo—to listen once more to the breath of the increasingly polluted sea. Over the actress’s voice and the sound of her breathing, AI-generated images and sounds of the sea unfold, and the audience holds its breath for a moment, each holding a “single sentence they wish to pray to the sea.” The prayer, born from one person’s memory, meets the breaths of many others and evolves into a ritual performed by a small community in the heart of a city without a sea. · Booking link: https://form.naver.com/response/Gysb22Yunbt · Open to all
